You are correct Red Light.
The game is not segregated.
This is helpful as it means we can use the club bar - always found Sutton to be a friendly enough lot though the bar is fairly small.
Also a plus as the pub opposite the ground the Plough closed down a couple of years ago; nearest pub to the ground is the Robin Hood about 10 minutes from the ground; most tend to go there. Usual Spoons, Yates's etc. in Sutton itself.
See you there.
The larger bar will be open for the game. There will be a selection of real ales for those who like the stuff

But at least having travelled that long distance (if from North Wales) there is a roof over your head and quite a modern terrace made of some sort of metal plating - at this level a roof is something to celebrate

One of the better places to go, shelter/bar etc - but why don't we train on plastic pitches on a regular basis?
I think we'll prove to be the better of two poor teams but the plastic will level it off to a 1:1 draw - if there is to be a winner we could well edge this one.
Well done to all travelling Reds.

Well done to all travelling Reds.
The plastic / artificial argument always intrigues me.
Should we train on one more regularly ?
How often do we play on them competitively ?
Cefn Druids could assist us, Airbus UK have one, I even recall us being offered Hyde's pitch previously.
But is the boot on the other foot when the opposition (in this case Sutton) play away from home and have to play on grass ?
Perhaps since our last time out with the first team (Solihull win) we have indeed been training on such a pitch - but like many things now surrounding the club it will probably remain a closely guarded secret.
In days gone by I seem to recall players training on the car park behind the Yale Stand - didn't seem to do Billy Ashcroft and Micky T any harm - does playing on an artificial surface give a team much of an advantage ? if your a good player surely you can play and adapt to any surface or can you ? the variation in pitches especially this time of year must be massive - either dry and firm, just thawing out from frost or heavy and almost waterlogged - perhaps half the battle is finding the appropriate footwear to use and keeping your boots on your feet - take note James Jennings and learn to tie proper knots in your boot laces (never a Scout was he)

The manager has to show that he can motivate, and fire these primadona’s up.
What's up with Lainton?
