Incredible isn't it. He's played 20 minutes, 20 awful minutes, barely looked like a footballer, was woefully unfit, then got injured. only this club could then sign him on for longer. Answers on a postcard.

Yep, he looks some way better than this level and this is excellent news.

So I wasn't having a nightmare then. That's a shocking decision to extend his loan.

While I agree with Phil that is debut was not great and he looked woefully unfit there may be a footballer in there if he is fit which is more than can be said for Bunglingly bad or whatever his name is.

Shocking is over the top for me.

Nice confidence boost for the young lads and those working within the CoE.

Why not wait and see, when he T Reid has had a real chance, but I suppose it supports the argument against Keates. Was he that bad,?

After a shaky start we had wrestled control back at 1-1 against aside most were saying would beat us easily and he got forward to good effect a few times although there was a lack of cohesion with a few team mates that obviously takes time to develop.

DK identified the full back position as an issue and immediately brought Horsfield in, then he had to be replaced and since we have shown signs of improvement, started to stop leaking for fun. Loan players are seldom match fit when they arrive as they haven't been playing or certainly not involved in the parent club's first team squad. It was a risk throwing Tyler in due to Jenno's illness and unfortunately the risk back fired with him picking up an injury.

We don't seem to have a young right back ready to throw into a relegation scrap, so a full back on loan in my opinion is high priority given the age and niggly injuries Jenno and Carra are prone to.

How long do you think fitness will come to him?

He looked very much like someone before pre-season training, who had been fined for reporting-back unfit.

They'll have to wait until Keates is gone, as many of us are.

Not sure but to use your example a player in a similar predicament allegedly is now scoring for Chesterfield
