Default Is it too late to save Wrexham FC ?

Bearing in mind the root cause of our issues are at board/ management level and those are notoriously difficult and long winded to resolve at the best of times, in our current league position is it now looking too late to turn this ship around before we hit the rocks of relegation ?

I'm now convinced that the fools at the top who got us in this position are not moving so for me we are 100% going down.

Relegation would mean crowds of under 2,000 and not being able to pay the rent without massive budget cuts and the spiral goes on until this once great and proud club is no more.

Is it too late or is there still hope ?

There's still hope. We're not actually in a relegation position as Bury's demise will save one side from going down. It's looking really grim though and after we inevitably sack Keates, this board must not be around for the next managerial hire. In fact, I would dish out some lifetime bans for the damage they've caused to this club.

If we do go down, the excuses will be really cringeworthy. 'We were one win at Sutton away from safety'.

I thought this idea had been rubbished?

Whilst we're not that far from safety points-wise physiologically we're miles away from being effective, IMO.

Where do you get this information from, I can only see that one team will be relegated from League 2 but nothing regarding relegation from the National League.

Absolutely not too late but it would take some serious soul searching and recognition of the mistakes made on and off the pitch. A few key signings can get us safe on the field, we just need to avoid making the same off field mistakes to push on. Big ask but possible.

Next few games are critical but on yesterdays showing, saving the season is probably beyond this very poor team. Terrible decision making coupled with unbelievable arrogance from the deadheads at the top have done for us.

If we get beat by the mighty Chorley at home which is on the cards, you would think there would be a lot of unrest and anger in the ground, but still you will find many fans in the ground who will take the boards side.I predict it could nasty towards the end of the game, and Wrexhams media and the Leader will not report a thing, but at least Mark Griffiths will say it is Wrexham hooligans causing the trouble.

It's obviously not too late regarding plenty of points left to play for but the players have clearly downed tools, the manager is out of his depth and doesn't know what to do next and the board say it's not their fault.

For me, signing a few players in January won't fix it because the place is so toxic

The only way out is if a new leadership team come in, sack Keates and let's rid this toxicity from our club but this must happen in the next few weeks.

Once the January window has shut and Harris and his crew along with Keates remain in charge we are down

Depends what league Bury go into next season.

1 down from Lg 2, 2 up and 4 down from this league would leave it with 23 teams next season.
