Default Dean Keates once again costs us

In the two previous league games prior to the Sutton debacle we showed promise and commitment. Then we played Halifax and field a completely weakened team. Sheer stupidity. The team had finally found some form and then were forced to sit out for a fortnight. The Sutton game was the first for many of the team for two weeks and the rhythm had been lost. Keates then wonders why the players did not turn up.
Keates is stupid. When you are on a roll keep it going, it's football basics. If we had played a couple of mid-week games I can understand resting some players, but not if you are only playing on Saturday.
This is not the first time Keates has rested players when there is no need and it has back-fired.
Roll on the League of Wales! This appears to be what Spencer and his nationalist allies seek.

I was quite surprised at the number of changes against Halifax. I could understand anyone carrying a knock not playing and maybe some rotation with the more senior players. It was a completely changed lineup after we actually won a couple of games. We didn’t even have a Tuesday game to contend with.

Poor from Keates.

Generally I have been supportive of Dean Keates , however I really didn't get his vibe with the fa trophy game

Yes the trophy is a bit tinpot,, but in a season like this it may have created some interest

As a non league club for 12 years maybe we should have shown this non league tournament a bit more respect...

Keates is not a manager his Hometown club were glad to see him go with his hoofing it to a lone attacking midfielder upfront.

Clueless like the board.

At this level it's one of the few chances players get to play at Wembley so don't understand the logic of playing such a poor side at Halifax, it puts out the wrong message to players who think if the managers not interested why should we bother

Not a keates lover one bit, what he did by jumping ship is inexcusable but in this instance and in hindsight we would have been applauding him if we’d of won Saturday.

But he didn't. Two weeks off and no effort, NOT FOR THE FIRST TIME, when will he learn?

Prior to the Halifax game, there was a split on here who to play and it wasn't the so-called first. That game has gone, but I do worry about Keates management, his tactic, his motivation, his interviews are worrying, as in when asked a question he replays in an arrogant way as if he knows what he is doing.

I do think he will get us out of the bottom four but only just, but my concern goes further into next season of more of the same, signing of more journeymen, shit football, knocking on the door of the seventh spot with no end result.
