I'd personally add Grant and Summerfield but cant see that happening. Redmond and Hooper have bought a stay of execution though I wouldn't be too surprised if Hooper did leave.
Mid season at this level is never going to be a good time to bring in players or dispose of contracted ones.

There was little on the bench today to turn your head and think we could bring on a game changer for the last 20 minutes if we were desperate for a goal.

Problem would come if we sustained a number of injuries / suspension - things are looking better with Patrick and Hooper up top - there's more movement and running but if we lost them it would be difficult to replace from within the squad - Oswell is a different type of player entirely and both Harris & Macintosh are misfiring massively when they get a rare chance.

Jay Harris would make a big difference to our midfield and team as a whole.
Given Maccs situation we should at least make enquiries.

Given the mess they are in with players not getting paid, matches being cancelled and points deductions Harris would be the best bet of getting something like the quality we need in.

You have to think Keates with playing with Harris will have spoken to him about the situation going on there at least to guage if a move is possible. Theres also some highly rated younger players at Macc that could be looked at.

For all the bad performance on the pitch at least we can offer players some stability and wages paid on time. Thats got to go for something in some players minds.

He’s 33 in April. I’d still offer him a 2 year deal. The current crop of “midfielders “ could learn a hell of a lot from him

We can extend his loan this January to the end of the season provided both parties and the player agrees.
