Is it the player or the tactics it’s questionable.

Started off well when coming off the bench against Salford on Boxing day and then played an excellent game in his last game on loan,in between was not that great would nearly always cut in field for he did not have the confidence to go on the outside of a defender and run at him, many fans would have Pyke back but another who played well in his last game for Wrexham but before that was very average to say the least.

I thought he was good across his whole spell last season, he slayed Boreham Wood single handedly too.

Either way the player we have this time is miles away from the lad who was here last term

It's an attitude problem, I think. He has not been able to raise his game when it was needed to prove he is better than those around him. He is now being eclipsed by Patrick and Hooper.

Great shame, but we already have too many so-so players in the squad, and we need to offload them to bring in better.

Didn’t think I’d say it after that shocking debut but Reid looks very good and hopefully we can extend loan or even sign him if possible

I thought he was overrated last season. Two really good games but not much else.

He was inconsistent last season, despite looking like the missing link at times, the player who would get us on the front foot, getting at teams. Regardless I thought it was a good move to bring him back but he hasnt made any impact, lacks Patrick's strength on the ball and only seems capable of beating his man if he has acres of space to run into. It probably a confidence thing but unfortunately he isn't going to get a run in the first team to get some consistency.

Tollitt thanks but no thanks

Isn’t in a game enough and has lost the ability to beat a man

Daryl McMahon resigned as Macclesfield’s manager, another vote of no confidence in the club but without a manager may mean getting Jay Harris will be more complicated?
John Sheridan sacked by Chesterfield - hopefully wheels coming off!!
