Make no mistake about this - if we don't massively improve our starting X1 in January we will be relegated.
I have no faith in the Board to find a 'proper' replacement for Keats, neither do they have the balls to sack him, and they are not going to fall on their own swords.
So spend every last penny on genuine improvements - even if it just a goal scorer and midfielder - two genuinely better players are better than the normal scattergun response from Keats.

Forget trying to play attacking attractive football - it's too late for about 2,000 fans anyway, hopefully not forever but certainly for this season. Just keep us out of the bottom four and that's about as much as we can hope for.

Start now with planning for a Keats replacement - as soon as we are safe (If we ever are)get him in and get out the substandard players currently bringing us down.

I do not believe our loyal fan base will ever desert the Club - we will only get the other two or three thousand back when we get a totally new set up.

There can only be one focus - avoid relegation.

We have gotten ourselves into a precarious predicament. We will see if the whole club has the desire and mettle to fight our way out of the mire and then have a serious debate about what we need, want and expect from Wrexham AFC. And, importantly, how we do it.

We need new leaders for a start as the current “captain material” players drop responsibility when the going gets tough.

The board have appointed Keates despite most people disagreeing so they now need to back him financially. Equally, Keates need to show balls, off load the chaff in the squad. But we all know what will happen, a few loans will come in and out season will be over by February, if it isn’t already.

Id be having a look at Macclsfields squad with the current issues there. Jay Harris (ticks all the boxes) would be well worth looking at trying to get him in. Not sure who else they have but they do have some good up and coming players

Also need...

Loan keeper
Midfielder
Striker

Now ive no idea how much money Keates is getting off the board and I think we all know there are going to be a few players offloaded but IMHO I don't think we will have the funds to bring in what we need quality wise. Also lets face it who would want to come here?

Let's face facts.Nobody decent is coming to Wrexham in January.

We've not got anyone decent in January as long as I can remember even when we've been top 3.

The die is cast

spin doctoring to suit ones own agenda at its ighest...

although Franks was pants...

Deverdics came here with a good reputation from Dover and & Hartlepool . many at the time (id say majority) was happy with him signing.. the fact he was again pants whilst here... wasnt the managers fault if he didnt perform (at all)

As for Ainge... he scored a crapload for Harrogate once changed position from Defender to Striker for them.. and he came to us with us hoping he continued that .. again he didnt fulfill what we hoped and he didnt emulate at all what he done at Harrogate .. and hasn't done so anywhere since he left.. so again not the managers fault.. as he signed potential... but they didnt deliver
