I have to conclude therefore that ,as demonstrated so obviously on saturday, the current crop do not WANT to play (with notable exceptions) for Wrexham football club in its current guise. Its time all levels of management woke up and smelt that particular coffee. Adding new fruit to a bowl of rotting apples is no solution.
So what is the solution ? We are unlikely to change the entire club structure in January but we can and should change the structure of the football management as it appears to not be working. I was one who suggested more time for keates only last week but that was based on a half decent Christmas and some encouraging home performances.
The performance on saturday took my breath away in terms of incompetence and downright indifference to the final result from all but a few. That was enough to convince me at least that something must be done. The current lot out (Keates Darlington Davis) and a strong replacement in. Relegation to the CN is the beginning of the end. Yes I would attend because I always will but I fear i will have much quieter saturday afternoons.
The thing is Keates isn't a good manager / tactician. Even a nominal manager can fire up players and get them on his side which can overcome basic issues. We have none of that going for us at the moment which has led to Saturdays abject display.

I do think if we got rid of Keates, Davies and Pep Darlington now and appointed someone fresh we would see an automatic bounce of results.

Results hopefully yes but there are more deep rooted issues at the club that need addressing in at least the medium term.

Following all previous transfer windows I fully expect to be severely underwhelmed and disappointed by whomever Keates brings in.

It's quite frankly disgusting how shit it is being a wrexham fan and it's been this way since the wst took over. I don't expect anything other than dog muck players anymore, same goes for managers and coaches, but they continue like they're some sort of saviours! Remember they didn't save the club the fans did .
