Do believe they did as he was rumoured to be come here which a lot of people weren't happy with. Ended up scoring a few for Macc. Was that the season they went up?

As someone said before we seem to have a habit of buying injured players / loans in the Jan window. I have no faith in Keates to sort anything out in this window.

Personally I would love to see Jay Harris back in midfield as captain and a new centre half along with a new left back and cover for Lainton with Dibble going anywhere just away. Then I would have Hooper as the target man with Patrick as cover and a new loan signing up front to replace the returned with no thanks Tollit and Harris.

Hooper as a target man,not a chance on earth his game is not winning balls against 6ft 3 defenders,the game against Chorley showed what Hooper is all about.

Yes Blissett scored some important goals to help win Macclesfield promotion,but I thought this type of signing was not available in the January window.
