He came in and what anyone says he was left with the same coaching staff on a part time basis, no real training ground and he brought in Flynn to support him. Hughes tried his best and he wasnt good enough. The board give him a go and it failed. Keates on the other hand could have come back and made the big change that we all desperately want, he didnt, Darlo is still here, nothings changed, only thing that has changed is that the football on show is getting worse every game. If you ask yourself what is the worst we have played this season, it will be under keates!

Thing is Hughes shouldn't have been given the job in the first place given his lack of experience and poor run at Scarborough.

Agree last Saturday was as bad as ive ever seen. This Saturday coming could be worse though. Same players, no new additions and then add in a two week break with limited training and against a better team.

We've no money, who'd have thought dwindling crowds would mean we have no cash? The board said Keates would have money to spend, likely 50p, remember the missing warchest. Pure shameless spin.

Keates is a dead man walking, can't see the players endearing to him after what was printed yesterday and today, especially after Pearsons comments last week.

Heard these stories many times previously, expect a last minute stocking filler type player to join and that will be it.

You do wonder what the current squad are thinking as they approach this weekend... condemned as being not good enough by the manager and the board, yet expected to battle for our very survival.
Most know they are dead men walking come the season end regardless, morale must be rock bottom.
A single signing may help....but I fear it will be too little too late.
