I agree there is probably some logic to your assumptions but doesn't it highlight the cost of poor decisions from the board?
£200k wasted on a budget increase given to a manager that should never have been appointed.
£234k lost off the gates due to poor decision by the board and animosity and anger created by their decisions, actions and statements.
estimate another £100k for January transfer budget and that takes us to
£534k wasted by this inept board.
The Ward money was a once in a lifetime opportunity for this club, we may as well have put it all on red at the nearest casino.
