January Transfer Window

So the next month may prove absolutely crucial in saving our season. It’s clear we need a striker and 2 centre midfielders as well as goalkeeper cover (at a bare minimum). We could also do with offloading a few aswell.

Let’s use this thread to discuss rumours and to look at other players released from clubs. I noticed Keanu Marsh-Brown has been released by Newport. He’s always done well at this level.

Yeah we’ve notoriously done well in the January market so the play offs is still on in my opinion....

Ha just to clarify ‘save our season’ refers to not being relegated. Best case scenario is to pull clear of relegation and look at players/ experiment ready for next year.

The thought of Keates spaffing more money away in January does not sit well with me.

After the two wins, I thought we’d turned a corner and expected us to survive and to finish around 12th? I think the Sutton game illustrates that it’s not just new players we need.

We may bring in some new faces, but I fear they will soon get sucked into the stagnant festering swamp that’s engulfed our club.

Snap - I'm still hopeful we can drag ourselves away from the relegation zone. If we lose points over Christmas though my hope will evaporate.

Nor me his loan signings one a good start Horsefield but not here long enough to see if a flash in the pan,another one like one of the telly tubbies and another one made a great start but early days yet as Bradford fans don't rate him. Kennedy who Keates must of been told about is OK but not a fullback.

Then we look at his last Joke of a January window Deverdics,Franks, a fat centre half turned striker who's couldn't get a game at Harrogate a league below at the time.
