Afraid not.

Deverdics was always a shot in the dark. He was such an attacking force at Hartlepool he was playing LB. Their fans couldn't beleave we'd payed a fee for him.

As for Ainge it's a stretch to even call him a punt.

The Ainge signing was a woeful decision. Literally watching him for 20 seconds would of been enough to see he wasn’t good enough! He couldn’t run. And had he been that good, why would Harrogate happily loan him out at a critical point in the season?

It was so obvious that it wouldn’t work out. We might as well of been chucking Pearson or Manny upfront for the last ten than fetch him on, not once but time and time again. It was utterly ridiculous - it really was. I’m winding myself up just thinking about him ambling on when we should of been bringing a striker.

And people wonder why we’re still non-league.... we were always going to have a dodgy season like the current one with our shear incompetence in the Marketplace. We didn’t even wait until jan to f&&k up any transfers this season - we signed Barton, Mcintosh, Bobb and Chambers early on.

😡😡😡😡😡

Even though Bradford fans don’t rate Patrick ? So you wish to play three out and out strikers up front ? The board may be mad but fortunately they are unlikely to approach you.
Personally I would love to see Jay Harris back in midfield as captain and a new centre half along with a new left back and cover for Lainton with Dibble going anywhere just away. Then I would have Hooper as the target man with Patrick as cover and a new loan signing up front to replace the returned with no thanks Tollit and Harris.

Although Patricks loan has been extended I still think we need two more strikers especially if Hooper is injury prone. We can't rely on Bobby Bombproof Grant up front again.
Harris is first choice at Maccs so I would doubt he’d want a move tbh

Guaranteed wages, half an hour closer to home, 18 month contract, playing for his mate, fans love him. Why wouldn't he want to come back if there's a choice between use and Macc?... apart from our perilous league position, obviously.

If we stay up we’ll be no worse off than Macc next season anyway.

Plus given his track record he could have had a wedge on us to go down at 18/1; he can fill his boots!
