Lainton 9 Penalty save,great stop from free kick.Poor distribution.
Reid 8 Hopefully answered why he was kept on loan.
Lawler 7. Few loose passes but generally solid.
Pearson 7. Doesnt appear to be player he has been for past two seasons but not as bad as some are making out.Pretty solid in middle of three.
Kennedy. 7. As lawlor but a little more adventurous with going forward.
Jenno. 7. Dont feel he has the necessary pace for a wing back but put in some quality crosses.
Summerfield.6.5 Would like to see him look for that killer pass but harried them throughout . Tackle for penalty was pretty poor though.
Young.7.5 Never stops. Broke down several attacks. More positive with his passing than Summerfield.
Redmond. 7. Pure class for assists, especially the first. Obvious quality. Hopefully more consistency to come.
JJ. 8. Two goals will always get you extra marks.Some exciting runs and took their defence apart on a couple of occasions. Doesnt appear fully match fit yet.
Grant. 5. Not quite sure what his role is.
Awful miss from 6 yrds after a quality build up.
Rutherford.6 As per.
Patrick 8. What more can you ask for in a short appearance.

Is everyone giving Pearson two more points because it’s Pearson? He’s a solid 5/10 er now which somehow is “calm and assured”. Either still got a knock or stopped caring.

It’s like when your kid keeps singing the nativity songs out of tune but you turn a blind eye because they have learnt to bring you the tv remote and a can so that kinda makes it ok.

Last one to leave the pitch yesterday - AGAIN - mixing with the young fans in the Yale Paddock by the tunnel for autographs / photographs long after all others had run off down the tunnel.

There was a time when we supported our own players - just a thought.
