It’s not the point. If they don’t then we will have a discrepancy as we promote 2 but only 1 come down. It’s really not complicated.

I know what you're saying but nowhere does it say only 3 will go down it could be further down the pyramid where one extra is promoted bury cannot just join the National league if gone bust the have to reform and join something like the evostick league I know the logical way is 3 down but it's the National league rules they show 4 down everywhere I've looked my point was I cannot see how Bury can just reform in the National league, it probably will end up 3 down but then the National North or South are a team short how would that work? In other words where's the cut off point

I reckon 9 wins would do it. Away form has to be improved.

Big games against Maidenhead away, Chorley away and a potential six pointer with Aldershot at home.
Dagenham also to come before the end of February.

Or should I start dreaming of 12 points off 5th.....

Easy does it..........

Merry Christmas everyone
I’d take 55 now hands down. I know Spencer, Pete, John, and the rest of the megalomaniac fantasists are all patting them selves on the back after today, but I think it will be what it’s been for last until end of season....ups and downs, I hope we can pull through. Shame some are congratulating each other with us being in the relegation zone after a win on Boxing Day day at home, scary times ahead on and off the field.

It might be irrelevant at this stage, but only Sutton and Boreham Wood out of the teams outside the play-off zone - both with 11pts out of 15 - have gained more points than us (9 out of 15) from the last 5 games. We've also gained points on thirteen of the teams who were above us in the league since we hit rock bottom.

All is not lost just yet, and https://www.footballwebpages.co.uk/n...able/predicted is predicting us to finish the season safe in 17th place on 52 points, even though they don't expect us to win another game away from home!

Judging over season so far.

I want to be wrong... But the signs are all there in terms of our general ability to string wins together. I was of the view in October that if at Christmas we were still down the bottom we should be at panic stations... People still seem to have the too big to go down mentality

‘String wins together’ - 3 in 4 is a start don’t you think ?

Well we aren't by any measure: https://www.soccerstats.com/formtabl...eague=england5

Even if you take the whole season we aren't in a space that will be a relegation space at the end of the season.

We definitely need to improve though to make sure.

I've not seen anyone say we are too big to go down. You'd have to have not been paying attention for the last 12 years to think that.

Its is but if its 5 in 6 in a couple of days time it will be a lot better.

Looking at it more and more teams are getting pulled into what could be a battle royal of teams for relegation.

All things being equal and add the fact we've played one more game than most teams above us and less than 40% of the season to play we are starting at relegation.

Anyone who thinks otherwise is sleepwalking to the Conference North which is a big worry
