It’s not bad luck or chance that has put us here, over 10 years of Harris and Jones running the club into oblivion. No way they’re going anywhere soon

This is about the size of it

How to completely flip up a football club in 12 short months.

It's actually more difficult to do what they've done than to get it right.

The foundations were there. Now we are on the edge of the cliff

Rumours are there is now a rift in the board. A number of trust board members want Harris to resign, but he is refusing to leave, and Pete and other club board members won't vote him out. Always thought it as ridiculous to have people in both boards and this is exactly why, as harris must now think he is untouchable. Absolute disgrace from top to bottom.

Being a fan owned club saved the club, stabilised the club (off) the pitch and once that was achieved the club should have been open to outside investment from either a syndicate, or a private owner and then we could have pushed on and upwards.

Sadly staying within the limited confines of fan ownership has ultimately killed us as we have inexperienced people riddled through the club from top to toe, and it hasn't been working right for several seasons, to the point we have got to the edge of the abyss.

The board, Spencer, Jones have bigger ego's than Bobby Grant and i fear it's to late now to reverse the damage done even if they were to find some balls and quit tonight.

To add to the frustration I heard from 2 different trusted sources on Thursday at the match that we have been approached by a group of foriegn investors interested in acquiring the Club and they are willing to cover the cost of any required due diligence.....but elements of our Board are resisting their approach!! Trying to get more info on this but if anyone else has any info please share it! It is a bone fide approach apparently with clear evidence of the financial strength to be able to back up their approach. If this is correct we the fans should know the facts!

If change at the top comes it will be too late.

I said last May it had to be done then after the Ricketts, Barrow,Newell, Hughes debacle. They shouldn't have been allowed to preside over another pre-season

They were allowed to carry on and waste a big chunk of the Ward cash and this is the result as most of us predicted but wished we would be wrong.

It's like a re-occurring nightmare and has been since Pryce Griffiths jumped ship.Yes, the demise of this once proud club goes all the way back to the early 00's and the end is in sight I'm afraid

Heard it all before.A sick joke if you heard that down the pub.

Like telling someone who needs a heart transplant that he's heard in 'spoons that someone has a heart available....maybe

I wonder if the refusal to discuss an approach from a potential buyer, and the rift in the board are linked. If the approach is true and it was knocked back in contradiction to trust rules, I hope one of the frustrated board members goes public and makes a stand against this dictatorship.
