Re: Chorley away
Keates hinting at team selection changes for Chorley.
Source : LeaderRich. So what will he do ? Will Wright return and replace Redmond ? Will the defence be tinkered with and perhaps the formation ? Will Hooper & Patrick start from the start together ? Will multiple changes (if made) backfire on us ? The excitement is building by the minute - who will return to North Wales a New years day hero ? or will there be a villain or a team of villains and RP will go into NYD meltdown ? Still no update on number of tickets sold - it must be one of those 'in house closely guarded secrets'. The game has also been all ticket for home fans - so if you haven't already got your match ticket it's now too late - none are on sale tomorrow. And it's been deemed 'a segregation match'. Good luck everyone - lets bring all 3 points back home which will set us up nicely for Saturday's home match v Aldershot Town. |

Re: Chorley away
We are already paying the price for that lack of stability with our manager merry go round. Sack Keates now and further change is likely to be the final nail. Regardless of our position, the board are going to have to trust DK to turn things around. Crewe & Port Vale fans have moaned for the last 18 & 12 months about their managers (described as 'the cheap option') but they are now seeing the benefit of their board not panicking and showing loyalty in the manager

Re: Chorley away
It's been coming for some time - Lainton's kicking is woeful - he struggles to keep the ball on the pitch and not for the first time he's miss hit a number of clearances low and weak which his defence have bailed him out - but not at Maidenhead - strangely the highlights don't appear to have received much distribution (unless in the Maidehead area) but worthy of a view - Dibble can't catch and Lainton can't kick - does anyone know the recipe of how Frankenstein was assembled out of spare 'good' parts ?

Ian Holloway is back in football - took over as manager of Grimsby Town this morning. Good to have him back in the game. Agree with you - another managerial change would rock the boat even further - review at end of season wherever we may be by then. |
