Remember Martyn well, think he came around the time of the Ken Barnes era. Averaged a goal every 3 games, what we would do with that sort of player now. Rest in peace, good memories of my watching you play.

I had a mate who was playing for South Liverpool .Drew them at home 1965 1st Round of The F.A.Cup South Liverpool scored first and if I remember correctly Martyn scored a hatrick that day and we Won 4-1.

Signed from Colchester at the end of September 1964 and played his first game against Tranmere on 3rd October. Scored 9 goals in his first 9 games, including a hatrick against Aldershot. Not mentioned in newspapers in association with Wrexham after 1966.
