Default Class act by Bobby Grant

Thought this was worthy of it's own thread.

After the final whistle with the away end dispersing in celebration mode and the team being applauded off the field - the last player to leave the field (once again) Bobby Grant came over to the away terrace, took his team shirt off and handed it to the smallest (in the white away top) kid in the away end.

Later, whilst walking away from the ground I happened to meet up with the young boy and presumably his father - I can't emphasise enough how one small act by an adult transformed that boys day - already planning to have the shirt framed so proud was he - a 0 - 2 away in and going home with one of his hero's shirt doesn't get much better for a kid.

So, whilst all other players were heading down the tunnel Bobby Grant could have joined them - but he didn't - he made an effort he didn't have to and in doing so made a difference - well done Bobby - that was pure class !

Maybe he is off?! Nah fair play to him I can imagine how much it would mean to the young lad.

He had the top report from the Junior Dragons Xmas party from someone I spoke to. Had loads of time and effort for the kids.

Ah well beats telling his own fans to feck off.

Hopefully we’ll see him offer a little bit more as he’s down to his last 6 months of his contract

Looks like Jennings did the same as well. Fair play to them both.

Fair play to him. It's not his fault he's not the best player and gets played every game.

Probably the fastest he ran all game and hopefully his farewell gesture. He is very good at creating an appearance ......
