So the coach is coaching and the manager is managing? Oh no.

If you are happy for the one day wonder boy to continue driving us down the leagues well good luck with that but I think it all stinks .
Maybe just maybe your 5 minute snapshot of training today is not the whole extent of what goes on during the week?

I mean, as CD only works one day a week presumably Keates may take training on the other days? Just a thought!

It was suggested he was injured in the pre match warm up at Chorley - he was initially named on the teamsheet so that must be true.

Keates said in his post match interview that he had been contacted early that morning by Pearson complaining of a sore back sustained the week before at Maidenhead.

Wonder if this all goes back to last season when he injured his back in a goal celebration where other players jumped all over him from behind - back injuries can be long term in fact a significant weakness could be permanent.

Will he be back tomorrow in contention for a place and will Summerfield be back from illness - any sign of either on the training pitch ?
Pearson was in the pool at TF this morning.
He has a rib injury which was strapped up don't think he'll feature tomorrow.

Rib injuries are notorious slow healers. Even bruising can be debilitating and take weeks to heal properly.

How long were you there to come to this assumption?

I’m no fan of Darlington, but after watching training for a few minutes on one day you’ve ripped apart the whole training programme.

To be fair I wouldn't expect too much training today,
more set plays and shape, if anything other than loosening muscles off, with 2 days rest between games.
