Jennings failed as a player and a captain. Young tried to motivate the team and Jennings (embarrassed) followed.
As the only player with heart and guaranteed a start young would be my captain. The shame is I don’t think the rest would respond to Attila the Hun as a captain. The only two I would absolve from that comment are Carrington and Lainton who also care.

The worst performance I have ever seen from a Wrexham side

I think Hooper's being marked very harshly here. He regularly found himself in acres of space and made some decent lay offs, and even notched himself a goal. It's not his fault that our distribution is piss poor.

Young and Lainton played quite well, I felt for the both of them and I wouldn't blame them if they were putting themselves out there, begging teams to take them away from this nightmare as soon as possible. Patrick put in a decent amount of effort but, like Hooper, was let down by poor distribution today.

I'd dock wages from Grant, Redmond and Jennings and send Reid back for the levels of effort they put in today, and my 2nd favourite bit of the game (behind their unreal sitter) was the cheers for Grant's substitution. Outstanding work.
