Basically this, and it's all on 'them', the blame doesn't wash any more.

Amateurs, teaching amateurs to behave like amateurs.

There is a lack of one clear voice/message. I get that most fans dont want that voice to be Keates' but as it's unlikely the board will sack him so soon then Darlington must go as a bare minimum as of today. I'd contribute to a whip round.

Incredible. And Fans wonder why we are struggling, they train part time at best.

I said in another post someobody off the board should be down the training ground this morning to find out what the flip is going on with training and what we are doing on the pitch after Saturdays display.

Take it they are down Total Fitness again then keeping that stamina up on that long two week break they have now?

Wouldn't it be normal to be off on a Monday - especially as we don't have a midweek match ? I am assuming that if and when they do get days off it would be Sunday ^ Monday.

Right back to Saturday.

We were completely over run first half and could not have complained if we had been 0 - 4 down - some credit to Lainton but more down to very poor finishing by Aldershot who with some composure should have put the game out of reach,

That was surely the wake up call and half time was the time to make drastic changes - the game was so one sided.

Formation should have been changed - we had Young on his own against four midfielders who were running us ragged at will and picking up every loose ball - if personnel needed changing to add weight to the midfield then so be it.

To do nothing only brought on the inevitable.

If we add the greatest open goal miss of all time together with the run through and 'goal' which was ruled off for offside it could have been another 4 goals - so at least 8 top notch chances put on a plate throughout the match - the fact that Shots only netted twice is as bewildering as why we didn't make drastic half time changes.

The eventual scoreline separating the teams by just one goal didn't reflect how one sided the game was - but regardless of personnel if a team bypasses midfield, sits so deep and invites pressure then eventually it will collapse - we haven't got the quality to deploy wingbacks - biggest culprit Jennings - look at the first half and every big chance for Shots came down their right flank - Jennings was repeatedly massively out of position and did nothing with the ball when he got it.

Agree. You would have thought that given their position, their failure to iron out a preferred formation yet, and Saturdays debacle, that they would use this fortnight to up the training and fitness levels and work on a formation and set pieces. Possibly schedule a behind closed doors friendly on Saturday. But no, it looks like another little holiday.

If we were privately owned the owner would be asking for these things to happen because it would be his money and his neck on the line.

You cannot run a business and in this case more importantly a football club with volunteers, not a criticism of those who volunteer I admire their dedication but they must not have either a job, a homelife, work to do around the home or a social life.. But each to their own since I retired I don't know how I had time to go to work.

But I have harped on many times we are a rundown backstreet corner shop happy to plod along. No ambition to grow and open a supermarket.

But on the other hand some of Wrexhams most successful seasons have been under directors who were busy self made men running their own businesses as well as the football club. They had the usual office support which the club seems to have today.
Those men balanced their work load and brought both enthusiasm and skill to the board.

It is not lack of enthusiasm which has brought us to where we are but lack of knowhow and skill by the current leadership.
