Default What happens at half-time?

Under Keates it seems to me that the second half of matches are almost always worst than the first (amazing I know).

Isn't half-time supposed to be an opportunity to gee the players up and tweak tactics?

IMO the opposition manager (whoever he is) studies us in the first half, makes alterations at half-time and we have no answer to it. Not Keates, Davies or Darlington seem to have any flexibility or nous in how to counter this.

Not a lot that's positive. Against Chorley on NYD we came out in the second half and were second best until we scored. The writing was on the wall in that game but because they are a worse team than us it papered over the obvious cracks.

"Look, as you said, you all weren't good enough that half but will you please try harder the next one or Carl will cry?"

Darlington has to go and read his textbook to see what shoukd happen in the situation. He then passes a message in to davies who quickly runs to tell keates. Keates writes a few notes down in his little notebook. Then half time is over

Everything about the set up at the club is amateurish, from scouting, to coaching to managing and everything above management level is amateurish.

You cannot run a business and in this case more importantly a football club with volunteers, not a criticism of those who volunteer I admire their dedication but they must not have either a job, a homelife, work to do around the home or a social life.. But each to their own since I retired I don't know how I had time to go to work.

But I have harped on many times we are a rundown backstreet corner shop happy to plod along. No ambition to grow and open a supermarket.
