Mills had bargaining power because they went after him and really wanted him.

He was definitely forced onto Wilkin.

Probably more accurate to say the Board selected from a group of applicants who were willing to accept him - other applicants having been shown the door.
Yes, you're right. This did happen and forced other candidates out. Probably why the number of applicants has plummeted through the years, gone from hundreds to 20 wasn't it?

It now looks like someone is on their way out. Rumours, false news , prepare the public for an announcement then choose some poor soul as the scapegoat. Takes the pressure off everybody else. Classic stuff. Not sure it will work but Pearson is right to say that survival this year is the only thing that matters. Not just for the fans . If we go down and go part time a lot of those players face a salary drop or a move to another club. Pearson and others have a vested interest.

Oh dear, as someone stated earlier Dixie was being used as a pawn then, and again now by Lord All Bran.

January transfer bid for our captain perhaps rejected. Back injury keeping him sidelined, then Pearson going to The Bleader with a few home truths...

Does Pearson wear a vest then , no seriously , it shows there is a fear of relegation in the team , whether that affects their playing we'll find out obviously , especially if they lose two or three games in a row .

I think he may have played his last game here, reading between the lines and from rumours I've heard.

That's what I was implying, our captain is being lined up as a scapegoat.

For me he is taking the opportunity to speak freely before departing the club in this transfer window.

A huge loss to the club both on and off the field if Pearson departs.
