Some interesting comments from Pearson in this article. Wonder if he's on about the coaching set up or the board room?

Its clear that there is something drastically wrong within the day to day set up of the club and I think its easy to blame Keates.

Darlington is on his way. Finally. Its upto Keates to bring in someone who knows what they are doing then, who will gain the respect of the players.

It says something when your captain is in the papers saying that there are serious issues with the structure of the club. Nothing explicitly said but the gist of it is there IMO.
I wouldn't be surprised if most or all of the players are not happy with things behind the scenes.

I got the impression from Keates' previous tenure that him and Darlo were good mates? Maybe from a meet the manager event?
I'd be surprised if Keates wanted him gone, regardless of everyone else's opinion.
