End of last season I did think Oswell was showing some good signs of life and dis get a headed goal - made a few good showings from the bench but then drifted off into oblivion.

A bit like Beck, Boden and Fondop - the revolving door of unwanted strikers who somehow can't score goals when played in an isolated central position and are reliant on long hoofball punts from defence hit in hope than anything technical - significantly caused by a big void where the midfield should be resulting in the defence sitting so deep and inviting the opposition to heap pressure on us.

Absolute bullshit and this sort of crap from a board member/ sympathiser is the reason this club is going to the wall

Oswell is a complete fairy who belongs in the Welsh Prem at best.

That's the bit that had me in bulk, his feet never leave the floor he never challenges a centre half.

So we signed a crock paid allegedly 40k for him as he needed an op and now his HMV his masters voice says his injury takes years to heal. I do agree with him that we don't play to his strengths or any striker we have had since Mills left by hoofing hopeful balls to him, he is an old fashioned poacher, well he was but apparently now he is carrying a near career breaking recovery time.

I am not prepared to judge Oswell as I think the system and his playing time have been to put it politely - 'limited'
Since October 26th we have had 13 league games and he has only figured in 3 all of which interestingly we have won 2-0. Having said that his game time was always less than 10 minutes. This season he has only had 5 starts scoring in 2 of them.
In my opinion scoring goals and being sharp only come with gametime and ,again, i will not judge the lad though i can confess that i think there is a player in there.
When Les/Phil get their way and I am the new midfield general I will wrestle control of the dressing room from Pearson and insist on my mate 'ossie' up front
