How long back - recently ?

I would imagine a whole host of league clubs have been following him closely - didn't Fylde turn a significant bid down for him stating at the time that the bid didn't meet the clubs valuation of the player - also Tranmere Rovers were showing interest too especially after James Norwood went to Ipswich (possible replacement ?)

However Rowe is in a relegation threatened team, he's simply not getting goals in a poor team and he's one of those that you can look back on as one who did well 'historically' as opposed to the present.

Perhaps someone will take a punt, a gamble on him - but you can't help feeling that when he was banging 30 odd goals in every season that would have been the time to go - it might have been a two factor scenario at the time - the player thought he could achieve football league status with Fylde and the Chairman didn't need or want to sell him and can you blame him ?
However things appear to have changed on all fronts.
Surprised Blackpool haven't been looking at him earlier but think by now he's possibly missed the boat - he'll probably grow old and live to regret it muttering 'what if I..........

I feel your 100 % correct.

We keep tinkering around the edges and not taking decisive action.

There simply was no midfield last time out - Aldershot had four against Luke Young - the rest were nowhere to be seen - we just got pushed back deeper and deeper - then when we get the ball we have no choice but to play hoofball in hope that by some miracle it ends up at that statue Hooper. There are no players who can firstly win the ball and play it through the middle of the park to the forwards.

Since Hughes disposed of Kevin Roberts we have also tried to infill with second rate options who haven't made the position their own - but now I fear we have developed an even more difficult problem - we also need a specialist left back to replace Jennings who is way past his best and a target for opposition attacks.

Unfortunately I can't see us being able to bring in enough midfield quality in January - we have far too many below average players here already.
