Ties in boardroom (again)

This afternoon behind closed doors a friendly was played. Wrexham tried out three trialists up front a Mills, Harris and Jones. It was hard to pick out their movements as they did not have numbered shirts. However, Harris stood out from the other two as he was wearing a tie. Mills turned out to be useless, whilst Jones ran around a lot without an end product. The manager commented after the match that he hoped that this would be the last he saw of them.

An Aldershot Director did turn up in Jeans and with no tie. He was met by Spencer who went down to the Club Shop to get him a Club Tie .He then welcomed him into the Boardroom , telling the Door man that it was fine even though he had jeans on and continued to look after him before and after the match until he left .

How do i know these facts because i was there and witnessed it.

Truth is Spencer is asking someone who’s paid their own hard cash buying into a football club, hes in jeans and a polo to wear a tie I would hands down refuse to do it. Being told what to do by a guy who loves his position of power which he’s become quite comfortable in with not a penny of his own money being spent I would just refuse and return the favour at the return game to all of them.

Nice bit of irony using this word in a dress code thread. Also as Spencer is a Trust member then technically he is spending some of his own money. Whether he spends it wisely is a different matter.
