Re: Keates blaming fans?
Its Keates job to ensure the players are up for every game. When they perform like they did in our last game, to me keates failed to do his job correctly. Yes it's down to the players once they cross that line, but as a manager it's your job to unite the team with the management team. When the fans see that is working then that is when it becomes one team, management, team and fans together. When you pay 20 quid to watch a player on a grand a week not giving it his all, then you expect to be able to show your frustration, which may have a knock in effect to the team, but at the end of the day, it wouldn't come to this if the players showed some heart, and tried their best and ran after everything. To get that it starts with the management. Keates and co are failing and change is needed. I'm just hoping that old Spencer doeant leave it too late.

Re: Keates blaming fans?
I’m no Keates fan but reading that article it seems to be more a dig at the players than the fans. Saying that if the passion is there (meaning the players) then the backing of the fans will be there. I think he knows that the only way to close the divide between fans and the team is for performances to improve.

Re: Keates blaming fans?
An absolute classic. Fans fault as usual like we're baying for blood after the first loss of the season or something.
Theres a disconnect because the clown in charge of the team has proved he will leave at the drop of a hat when a better job comes along. And because week after week we put sub standard performances in where most players dont even have the decency to try. So its no wonder we don't a constant rendition of wrexham is the name going on throughout games. Posted via mobile theme |
