How many supporters were invloved in the election? I didn't vote any of the clowns in. They know full well most supporters have no interest apart from the manson clan who'll probably vote their idols in again.

It shouldn't have to come down to a vote, they've failed, they're failling the football club, so they should spare us all the bullshit and step down, but they wont because they believe they're doing a good job.

Not voting is no excuse, vote next time and encourage every fan you know to vote next time, there are over 3000 fans registered to vote.

Do you believe they should do the right thing and step down?

Regardless of people's opinion of Keates or his re-appoinntment this is another non-story but will be seen and remembered as a RP fact and used against him for ever more.
Yes, RP should at least attempt to remain neutral whilst allowing everyone to have their say.
The mods are not doing their jobs, they should resign, who appoints them? I didn't vote for them.

Not until a better alternative is lined up to replace them.

The blame doesn't lie with the fans, and Keates isn't suggesting that it does. He is saying that the players have to understand that they aren't gods to be worshiped, and that they need to please the fans (by showing determination to win and performing well) in order to win support.

As adults though, we have to understand also that if we have a bad attitude when dealing with shop staff, then we're unlikely to find them helping us to the best of their abilities - even though we're the ones who pay their wages - just the same as with our players.

Pearson too knows that the fans and the players need to be pulling in the same direction. If they don't care about us, they won't do their best for us, and if we think they're not pulling their weight, we abuse them. That gives them a bad attitude towards us which makes us criticise them even more. It is a vicious circle that has to be broken.

People with even half a brain will understand that the prima donnas on both sides must shake hands and agree to stop the rot. Relegation will be the result if neither side does so. Retaining our place this season so that we can fight for promotion to the FL again next season instead of wasting at least two more years for the chance will be the reward.

We love it when our team does well. It makes our day! If getting that feeling back every week means we have to back-off with the abuse to get the players in the right frame of mind too, won't it be worth it not to drop another league? Mature people will do that, while immature ones won't. COYR!!!

this thread and some of its replies shows the idiocracy and blind drama some of our fans have.

not anywhere in those quotes does he say the fans are to blame for how bad we are performing.

he is merely commenting on the divide between the fans.. which there is... some of you maybe blinkered into thinking ALL fans are on the same page.. but not all of us at all are wanting the manager and team out and the blood of the board.

seriously.. give your head a wobble.. read the quotes.. nowhere does he claim the fans are to blame for our poor performances in anyway.

anybody that thinks those above quotes in 1st post are doing so.. are blinkered... ignorantly blind or plain stupid.

Given the quote is “There seems to be a divide between the fans and the team", I'm not sure someone who thinks he's only commenting on the divide between fans should be describing anyone else as stupid!
