Bamfords match day
 

Contrary to what some might think , our FPA works closely with Geoff Scott to welcome great guests for every home game. Don't always get to Bamfords but excited about a couple of personal favourites coming back to the Racecourse:-
February 15th Torquay .... Bobby Shinton . What can be said about Shinner that hasn't been said ? Arguably the most entertaining character ever seen in a Wrexham shirt!
April 4th Dover Athletic...Bobby Roberts. Reds manager in difficult financial times who , nevertheless , masterminded our historic victory over top European side Porto .
Looking forward to both dates. Will make sure both gentlemen will be presented with Official FPA ties before the game ! :)

Who ever thought we would be in a worse position on the field than when poor Bobby had to play in goal in a Welsh Cup tie when we played Division Four games (Now League 2) in front of 1,300

Hard to get your head around how far we've sunk under the WST

Managed decline had begun before Bobby arrived but accelerated long before the Trust took over.

Pete Jones runs the 1864 Suite . Pete Griffiths , FPA Secretary , organises Bamfords guests . The two Petes liaise amicably.

We were joint top of League 1 after beating Sheffield Wednesday 3-2 at Hillsborough in or around 2004.

16 years later where are we ? Now that's managed decline
