Does Spencer Harris and other members of the WST Board know the difference between working hard and working effectively?

Won 15 Drew 15 Lost 8 2017/18

Went to Walsall:
Won 2 Drew 2 Lost 5 of the 2017/18 season
Won 11 Drew 9 Lost 21 of the 2018/19 season
Staggering winning just 4 games from 26 before getting sacked

Comes back to Wrexham:
Won 5 Drew 2 Lost 8

His points per game in all of these are:

1.20
1.57
0.88
1.02
1.13

Winning 43 games from 168
Pretty much a 1 in 4 win ratio which in anyone's eyes is terrible.

Back to the topic, yeah everything is sh*t at the mo and changes are needed, but involving the club in this initiative can only be a good thing: some actually bloody recognition the club is important to the town, hopefully some developments that help the club in the future, contact with other important people in local government and business etc etc. Be interested to see what comes out of it for the town as a whole - was back in town from London this weekend on a rare venture up and it was not nice seeing the state of the town centre at the moment.

It is an eight point plan and it would seem The Wrexham Football club have been very much involved in its development.

The club is one of a number of organisations who have representatives on what is describes as a 'Civic Leadership Group' (of 13 individuals). The Club is represented by Chairman Spencer Harris.

Others within the group include such 'high profile' individuals as Wrexham Councils CEO. Cambria Colleges CEO. The Vice Principle of Glyndwr, BETSI, etc etc the list goes on.

It will be interesting to see how the group influence the development of the town and of course Wrexham AFC.

PS --- There is an article about this on Wrexham.com via a link which shows the report going to the Exec Board ( If you like that kind of thing.)
Lots of mutual back-slapping, with everyone telling each-other how great they are, and what an amazing job they do. Meetings to no doubt, be held in a 'wine-cave'!.

It’s the equivalent of everyone saying “the club has never been ran better” or “well done to all involved” when we first came under fan ownership. I never understood why it happened but the above post sums us up!

Spencer Harris, the Chair of WCBC's Executive Committee and the chair of our local health trust. That little triumvirate has 'Trust ME!, written all over it.

Don't have a problem with his doing this he does apparently work a 100hr week so he should leave the football side and get someone who is good at that side, but you don't get quality free you get what you pay for, the same in managers coaches and players.
