Does everyone bar the board for example know that the players hate Darlington? The players are talking and even the captain has spoken out. The players are trying to drive Keates out. Expect them to down tools again. |

Re: Players refusing to leave?
Reads like he is after one signing plus one loan.
Dan Jarvis, rumoured to be the signing is a centre midfield creator described as a good player but physically weak! Can't see how 2 players will keep us up to be honest. |

Re: Players refusing to leave?
Players won't leave if they are on good money.
They know they can move on at the end of the season and I doubt their 'careers' will have been too damaged. They are likely to find other clubs. It appears that the players have given up on the whole, probably only five or six that seem to still want to fight for the cause (especially apparent on the Aldershot showing). The atmosphere must be horrendous and I fear it is too late to rescue the changing room this season, we just have to hope we can pick up results and that 4 teams are actually worse than us. I think in reality only Ebbsfleet and Chorley are. |

Re: Players refusing to leave?
Part of the blame with this has to be with Hughes for signing this dross and I imagine paying way over the odds for. Why if your on a cushy deal would you want to go elsewhere for less?
As for the team downing tool its going to make Saturday very interesting. I heard a similar rumour Sunday that players were downing tools and that Keates January transfer targets have already been missed out on or refused to come here. |

As for Dibble, Barton, and that Scottish bloke, can you blame them? Where else are they going to go, I wouldn't have them at Prestatyn. Exciting times.

Re: Players refusing to leave?
They'd probably rather sit here on X amount per week than drop to National League North/South wages, at least until they have to in the summer.
We'll have a similar issue if we try and sign Patrick, we wont be able to match Bradford wages so why would he commit ? |
