That's what 99.9% of clubs do and more often than not it works. What's your grand plan? Sign a load of shit players who don't play like last January?

To be honest I'm just as nervous about sacking Keates as I am keeping him because the idiots in the boardroom would probably go and appoint another random as manager.
Ideally though yes the solution is always, at any club once the players aren't playing for the manager is to sack the manager and get another one in. This usually sees at least a short upturn in results. Do you not know this?

Just a little reminder for you that most of these players got to 4th last season, it seems to be keep passing you by.

It's a fine line between challenging and struggling as ourselves, Fylde and Barrow are proving and it easy to lose that winning habit and confidence takes a hit. It isn't really like for like, either, Pearson, Lainton, Hooper, Summerfield, Wright and to a lesser degree Jennings have struggled with injury, the right back position has been an issue all season, JBB, Barton & Chambers proved to be poor signings and the offensive players brought in, Harris, Redmond & Tollitt never reached the form anticipated.

I agree, this squad should be doing better but hopefully, a few reinforcements coming in will improve competition and we can find some real form.

I dont have a grand plan, just curious about your plan.

"Do you not know this?" Love that you are so sure about this, maybe you should send your CV into the club. You could be Director, manager & assistant manager all at the same time.

You dont need to remind me that we finished 4th, we are all aware but that does not mean they achieve the same results every season. Do you not know this?

I get we are all frustrated but we cant continue to go through 2-3 managers a season. We really are playing football manager if we do this

Bringing in more players isn't addressing the issue.

The roof is leaking, but we're buying more cheap buckets.

My plan would go beyond managers. Sell the club would be first on the list because this lot hasn't got a clue what they're doing. Everything they touch turns to shit and they're all pissed on their own importance.

Was my point about changing managers and the subsequent upturn in results incorrect then? You haven't told me why it was?

I didn't claim they would acheive the same results every season, where did you pluck that from? Players don't just turn shite over a few months, seeing as the majority of players got us into the play-offs last season then this suggests that the manager(s) have been the problem not the players? Do you disagree?

Can you tell us any reasons for keeping Keates apart from avoiding a managerial merry go round?

Obvious top priority at this club is survival in the National League this season albeit with Keates as manager. If survival is gained - or not - then an urgent root and branch review of the overall performance of the club from top to bottom is needed starting with the 'chumps' that are currently running the show at this club ie. SH, PJ and JM with a view to changing the current model as matter of urgency and getting rid of this dross. The key question is 'How do we change and improve the current dire situation of leadership?'

Direct action like the Gateshaed game is the only way to force their hand and get media coverage. If it was a private owner it would have happened months ago.

This fans have lost the will and are happy to accept mediocrity and a fans owned dictatorship. Brainwashing is a powerful form of control.

I'm not for constantly sacking managers but these last 3 appointments beggars belief those responsible for Barrow being given a job he didn't want, a footgolf expert a 3 yrs contract and the final nail a poisonous character who got his Hometown club relegated should WALK but they won't like all dictatorships they will do anything to hold on to power, the only way dictators have been removed is usually by force, and Dictators always have a brainwashed little army around them.
