We are like a 1970s hotel with no guests. The chef continues to prepare prawn cocktails and the staff sit outside smoking. Maybe we should bite the bullet and become a B&B, sack the chef and staff and move out.

Went into Bamfords last March for the chesterfield match. The fire alarm went off so as we were queuing to get out I was standing next to a cupboard at the top of the stairs. Thought I’d have a nosey, slid the door open and all the legends photos were stacked in there!!! I’d rather see them than some floodlights.

There already are viable and realistic alternatives.

1) Current Board members resign, Shadow Members step up.
2) Current Board members are not re-elected. New members are elected.
3) Club seek outside investment and state willing to listen to offers, either by their own volition or by AGM proposal.

The legend pics have sat in a closet for ages apparently due to needing new frames! Frames ffs, no one cares just put them back up for now. like Phil said there are more pressing issues but it shows a lack of respect for the former players. Bobby Shinton got involved and agreed, also had a a few pops at the players for effort which was nice.

If anybody from the club can defend this id be amazed. The facilities us peasants have to put with are far worse than a frame that may of aged.

The elite could tap into these legends knowledge but instead they wind them up. its gone to far now

We are a basket case....I have supported the Club since 1967.....my Dad's fault....but I have just about given up hoping that I will ever see my beloved Club back in the Football League....I hold the WST wholly responsible for the total mess we are in, they have hijacked something that wasn't theirs in the first place. I only hope that history correctly records their part in our demise, especially the 3 stooges....

I must take Moyn to task when he says that the majority are content with the way the club is being run. I have friends who have stopped bringing their family to games as a protest. I, myself have a ST, and although I have missed the last two home games as a matter of principle, my protest is not “Seen” by the board, as all ST sales are recorded as being at every game. This is a real anomaly as large gaps are appearing in the two home stands.
Moyn, do you really feel that to show our displeasure in the way things are going, that we should stay at home? I have done this, but whilst I can sleep at night with my tiny protest, it’s hurting the club I love, and possibly negatively effecting my team. I have not got any more options available to me.
The board are incompetent and it seems they are Teflon coated!

The club will know how many season ticket holders are not going.
They have both the official attendance and the actual attendance at every game

I am never saying stay away sir. The fact remains that we appear to have lost the 1000 fair weather supporters but the core remain. The only way to protest ,for me, is to lobby the board for change. I will always attend.

You are right I suppose, there is no interest amongst the nodding dogs while the wst lead the club to its grave slowly.

With even less interest in removing those in power that would be a start, but I think the time has come and gone for the WST ownwership it cannot get much worse than it has been since they controlled the club.
