You asked for viable alternatives, I listed some. We will only know how successful any of them are once they happen. Nothing is guaranteed but it is clear the current set up is failing, the fanbase is fracturing and change needs to happen. |

Re: The silence is deafening
Only 300-400 hundred vote and most of those are WST diehards who have been brainwashed into believing fan ownership is the holy grail despite the reality of where the club stands today. So yeah, they absolutely would vote against it. And you know it.

Re: The silence is deafening
I can see it now end of the month a winger who has been on trial without a club since last season 2 stone overweight signs and Akil Wright fit Keates quoting having Akil back is like another signing we're fit to go obviously I would of liked to sign more players but it's hard to attract quality when in a relegation fight January is a difficult month to sign players.

Re: The silence is deafening
When we proposed at the outset a separate minority shareholding (with the support of the then Chairman who was in favour of duality and resigned shortly after) to enable the purchase of the ground with the club it was shot down in flames by Peter and the rest of the board. It was 100% only even if that meant not getting the ground. Hence the ground went to Glyndwr and the rest is history. With little effort we had 3 people come forward with £150k, £50k and £150k interested (including the exile who stepped forward at the last minute to cover the bond gap). No effort then was made to explore or welcome alternative minority investment vehicles (which would have left the Trust in majority control but given handy oversight) so why would it have changed, if anything it seems more entrenched than ever.
