fan ownership hasn't struggled, its the bloody board we have running it, incompetence and arrogance are very very bad bedfellows, seems we've hit the jackpot here.

At least those promotions and relegations occurred while we were a Football League club!

I endorsed JND’s comments some years ago.

Fan ownership may be a viable option in the League when income is supplemented by the solidarity payments but a struggling non league fans owned club who is reliant on the fans putting their hands in their pockets will always struggle without the benefit of such payments.

The people running the club and the ownership model are different issues though.

At present the club board, and by extension the WST board, are only dragging the club down. That issue needs sorting.

I do believe that fan ownership can certainly perform far better for us than it is at present, however that's not to say that our 'flavour' of fan ownership (the Supporters Direct model) doesn't need more than a few tweeks. That needs sorting as well.

Badly run fan ownership is not successful, just as badly run private ownership is not successful.

Back on track what sort of player is Jarvis. Is he the ball controlling passing machine we need in midfield or is he a winger or defender that we constantly sign?

This season he has played attacking midfield, central midfield mainly but also left midfield and left winger for Stoke under 23s
