Every season we sign these kids and put them on the bench, I see no different here, we had Harris under Keates he was sat on the bench could off kept him as arranged until the end of season.. We can have the best midfield in the world and we would still be hoofing it up the pitch to 5ft- 9 strikers with no aerial ability.

The main problem is not the players it's poor coaching, management and dreadful tactics.

Talking to a Stoke fan yesterday, they are desperate to off load some players. Jarvis was rated, described as play maker but he hadn't heard much of him lately. It doesn't have to be youth or experience, if DK can unload a few more then I'm sure there will be a few more additions. Maybe this is one for the future but let's see if he can make an impact

I think your comment would have more merit had we not seen so many young players cowed by talentless brutes, during our transition from our football club to an idealogical vanity project.

If these lads come in keen to impress and actually put effort in, then they will already be better than most of th eplayers we've been playing this season. It's a risk but signing old journeymen or players who have been injured and not making the bench for their L2 teams hasn't worked so why not try something fresh.

On one hand I would have preferred battle hardened pros like Jay Harris but the more I think about it, enthusiastic young players with good pedigree and keen to take a chance at playing this level or higher might just add something more than a journeyman going through the motions
