Whether he is or isn't, he isn't what we need.
I noticed he takes far too many unnecessary risks and tries to showboat in a position that he absolutely shouldn't be. So that tells me he isn't good enough. I think he'd be out of his depth in league one or league two as well.
The fact he appears to need more space is a sign of being out of your depth. Same with McIntosh who looked as if he'd been randomly plucked from the stands to play in the game.
Both are WPL standard along with Akil and Rutherford. They're all punching.

The problem is we dont seem to punch at all when Akil & Ruthers are not about. Ruthers did really well on Saturday and complemented Dan Jarvis I think his workrate helped and freed up DJ to find pockets of space and get on the front foot. Early days and a better test will come on Saturday.

Lets hope he gets some players in that have actually played a few games recently and not someone who as sat on the sidelines for a couple of months.

Barton is awful. He's the worst defensive player we have and he's a defensive midfielder.

But no we don't need a paid CEO or DoF because that would come at the cost of two first team wages....

I dont think were in a position to attract players who are getting decent game time at their current clubs. The best we can hope for is fringe players wanting regular first team football

Ruthers linked up well with Jarvis. Probably the only two players we have who understand the concept of “pass and move”, as opposed to “hoof and stay still”.
