Great to hear lots of praise for Jarvis and Summerfield! As Foxy predicted in the live match thread, packing the team with players who are going to give maximum effort worked wonders.

I would agree that lots of stay-aways aren't boycotting though; they've merely lost interest in the club due to the depths we've sunk to under this board.
as per usUAL.. Missing the point... he is stating over 1k fans are staying away BOYCOTTING the game ... which is a load of crap... and you know it.

dont get me wrong im sure some are "staying away" untill Keates AND the board leave... but even then im betting most of those claiming to be martyrs WILL return if we become successful before Keates and the Board leave.

Wow - great game today.

Was moaning about Summerfield like mad at the start- passes were either short or off target - then that goal!

First half Lawlor was MoM for me - didn't put a foot wrong but good call for MoM in the end.

Onwards and upwards hopefully.

Were there any protests today? To be fair didn't hear any?

I am a little bewildered why you think 'staying away' is not 'boycotting'? Its the very definition in my book.

if everybody was happy with the manager and board and we was near bottom of the table the attendances would still drop its nothing to do with any kind of boycott.. they simply dont wanna watch us when we are terrible.

.. hence they are not staying away due tp any kind of boycott like your suggesting.

I'm agreeing with you here that they're not boycotting, why do you think I'm missing the point?!

Krux, I think the definition is 'staying away as a protest'. You could obviously argue that fans are protesting that we're often (as seen today, not always!) terrible to watch, but I think LAAR is making a distinction between people who are protesting the board/management/etc and people who have just lost the will to watch rubbish so frequently.

Pretty much spot on.

No protest - just don't want to watch rubbish.

Those who choose to stay away today dippped out in my view.
