I’m sure he has been deservedly called out for his poor performances so now he deserves praise for a good one.

Summerfield was clearly a good player but he seems on the decline as injuries take their toll, however a good performance yesterday.

It is but i think its a number of factors that people have mentioned in this thread. Main one though is replacing Grant with Jarvis, someone who is willing to move into space and make runs to create things.

This may be the key. Also, Grant is rumoured to be disruptive and, perhaps, Summerfield was simply more relaxed without him on the pitch. I certainly was

Without Grant, he was also able to take the penalty which he did with some confidence.

His passing in the 1st 15 minutes was woeful, however after he scored he was more like the Summerfield we saw when he 1st signed.
