I can't remember Luke missing any for us. Super Booby on the other hand Skye's one into the tech end

That was Grant. Summerfield has took two pens for us (one vs. Woking on Saturday, and one vs. Dagenham away last season) and has scored both according to this site

Well hopefully Saturdays display will have given him some new found confidence to continue where he left off.

spot on. personally i thought it was a great strike that would have beaten most keepers.

It was a good strike. The Woking keeper was poor all afternoon and I’d be disappointed if Lainton was beaten by Summerfield’s shot.

As I have said previously, what the game showed more than anything is how vital the man between the sticks is. The Woking keeper is beaten too easily in my opinion, but at the other end Lainton has made a quality save to keep us 1 nil in front. In a tight game it’s the difference between putting points on the board or registering another defeat.

I said it pre-season and sadly I was proven right. Dibble wasn’t good enough to play for a sustained period in the team. Lainton, is head and shoulders above him. If it wasn’t for his injury record, he would be playing in the FL. Had he been fit all season, would we still find ourselves in such a poor position in the table? Even with all the other speculative recruits still playing we would be nearer the top half of the table.

I actually enjoyed the game on Saturday. It was entertaining and unexpected. If the team can put on better displays, similar to Saturday I do think fans will come back. The Club Board’s well published issues would be forgotten by most fans if the team is offering value for money at the turnstiles (not that I think those board members responsible should be swanning around the board room in their Wrexham branded ties)!
