Via a well connected source, plus that the same story from a Shrewsbury supporting friend who was on the money regarding Ricketts leaving. Despite the lap dogs saying not, all a ploy to make him out to be the villain.

Doesn't mean you can work together well, the opportunity to become a football manager are few and far between, clubs get loads of applicants, so you take any chance you get.

As for Barrow he would mock Darlington literally behind his back to the players at training sessions. Don't suppose people know the personal reasons line was bollocks, a scheme dreamt up by Barrow and Ricketts so no compo was due. Interesting those personal reasons have never been disclosed via the usual leaks, Barrow was working very closely with Ricketts during the 6 months between despite what was stipulated by his contract termination, unofficially of course.

Why would Barrow work with someone he didn't like, who he knew wouldnt be moved on? Darlington was being forced upon him too.

I got pelters for saying Barrow would follow him to Shrewsbury after he resigned.

No wonder some at our club behave as they do, they feed people any old sh*te and they lap it up. Some of you need to think and put all the pieces together as the stories usually have more holes than swiss cheese.

Fan ownership for you what else do people expect!

The pot to piss in .... there should have been one from the ward money that was our opportunity to go for it and spend.

Ricketts left Wrexham because of the set up here, all the flack was directed at Ricketts when it should have been towards those who have caused the slow demise of the club and another wasted season

Surely he knew about the set up before applying/taking the job though?

Maybe he thought he'd get in then change it, maybe the board spun him a yarn, maybe he just wanted to get his foot in the managerial door and move on at the earliest opportunity.
More than likely the truth lies in the grey area between those 3.

Congratulations to both Ricketts and Shrewsbury. Lots of money in the bank, regardless how they get on at Anfield.

We need to work out how we get out of the NL and back into the FL. To do that we need more cash to field better players.

The Board has so far failed to achieve this, and we members have failed to hold them accountable for that failure.

However, by claiming the Board has failed in all areas is wrong and weakens the case against them on the pitch. Meanwhile, let’s hope Keates has turned the corner and we now head away from immediate danger and give us the opportunity to finally get it right next season. But, to do so, changes are required.

Once again, congratulations to the Shrews.

He wanted to stay and was in it for the long run, let's put that myth to bed today. Him or Darlington, just like it's Darlington or Pearson gone this summer.

The board oversaw the professionalism he instilled at the club get ripped apart, it's no coincidence the clubs the wrong end of the table.

People can make as many excuses as they wish, the blame lays at the feet of those in charge.
