Does Rutherford do the job his position requires? No.

Do I care that a player that is ultimately not good enough 'never hides'? No. Because he's not good enough.

Put me on the pitch and I'll 'never hide' that doesn't mean that I wouldn't be utterly useless.

Stop being fooled by running around is the best advice I can give you here and pray for more real footballers like Jarvis seems to be.

My standards haven't dropped but the clubs have since fan ownership, my post was tongue in cheek about Rutherford yes of course he isn't good enough for a promotion side, we need players capable of playing at least a league higher, because if by some miracle we went up we would need a near total clear out of the team with very little money, is Whalley good enough for Shrewsbury level? He cost them a giant killing with awful finishing, unless millionaire's we cannot expect to get in 11 top quality players we would sell for the first offer and paint the toilets with dragons.
