Agree. Any side around us who goes on a 4-5 win streak has a chance. 9 off with 14 to play. If that gap can be cut to 4/5 with 10 to play...who knows. That has to be the goal. Talk of avoiding relegation is the wrong mentality. Chasing the play offs is the mentality to have now.

Realistically we would have to win practically every game which wont happen. Top half us a possibility and would be a good achievement having been bottom.

You never look too far ahead, take it one game at a time and at the moment we are still in a relegation battle.

The problem isn't being none points outside the play off places as it is perfectly possible to make those up. That isn't all that is required, though. We also need seven teams to do so much worse than we do in order to leapfrog them.

The chances of that aren't great.


However, we are currently in better form than those seven teams and we still have to play five of them in "six pointers".


We are 22/1 to get top 7; probably about right, although, simply because of games in hand the same bookies have Eastleigh at 14/1 (should be at least twice that) and Sutton at 10s, which is also somewhat strange.
