Is this fuelled by our media? Two bad losses and we are a disgrace- two wins and we are world beaters. We need to take a step back and admit that safety is our target. Any talk of more (play offs etc) is just silly. In football, just about anything can happen. As we strengthen our squad and harden our resolve, won’t the other teams near to bottom do likewise? It will be a nail biter.

Trust me, the bottom end of League Two is an abomination. You have to be terrible beyond redemption to drop out of the division. Had you beat Eastleigh and gone on to go up, as long as you got two or three competent signings you would have stayed up.

Judging from Hughes signings we would have been straight back down.

In 2002/03 we ended the season with WDDWDDWWWWWWWW and gained promotion with 84 points. But, with those 14 games to go we had 50 points compared to 38 today. However, a similar 34 point haul would get us 72 points and we'd be there or thereabouts.


Win 10, draw 4? Where is Scott Green when you need (not to mention Mr D Smith!) We can dream until the next defeat, but I'm not putting money on it.

I don't disagree but we have a board who appointed a man who wouldn't get an interview at Bala, so we'd be down by Christams.
