His main point of concern was that we didn't have a strategy to get into the FL. When the board talk about strategy and planning they get hammered, strategy house? If there was such a strategy surely every club would be implementing it?

For me its all about getting the right manager and them having a competitive budget. The board have worked hard to get us financially stable to provide the latter. The former they have made some mistakes.

Gary Mills.
Keeping Andy Davies in charge when Keates left.
Ricketts, Ball blower up Barrow, Mike Newell, Footgolf Hughes and Flynn Fiasco.

But they got it right with Ricketts and Keates (both times in my opinion).

But dont forget Alan Sugar, Mr business man, hired Christian Gross. Bet he wish he would of consulted Wayne. So it happens all over football, not just here.

Exciting times ahead
Very level headed post, mistakes have been some in hindsight others not well thought through. The important thing is not what has gone but how we do things going forward. Just reading Steve Stacey's book and things havn't changed in regard the lottery of player recruitment over the last 60 years, football clubs get things right and get things wrong, it's more down to luck than judgement.

Meaningless corporate speak is things like 'blue sky thinking', 'touch base' etc just meaningless.

But applying project management methodology to a football club business seems to make perfect sense to me, as long as it isn't used in team affairs. But the RACI model stated that it wasn't, that was down to the manager.

What model would you apply to running the club?

Its no good asking him on here hiding behind your username. Why don't you register an account on here using your real name and then ask questions?
Otherwise, according to your own rules, your just a troll.

I haven't got a clue what strategy house is or where it is but if Mr Harris thinks we need one thats Ok with me . Isn't the business world full of these meaningless terms especially in the HR sector . It was when I was working but most of us just ignored it except when we had to write corporate reports . Very much doubt the players would need to understand it or in Keates case "look" at it . Poor old Spencer can't do right for wrong.

If there was 1 governance board for Wrexham AFC instead of 2 then the whole organisation and ownership structure would flow much better and the issue of power and authority would not seem so convoluted.

The people running Wrexham AFC (whoever they may be) should have the ability and autonomy to see what skills they are lacking and to rectify this. But if you then rely on another board to identify and provide such authority it all becomes disjointed.

Personally I try not to use any negative terminology like 'toothless' or mention any individuals in particular as I feel this leads to division in the fan base, when actually we all need to be building a community wide energy for universal strength and avoid any sense of an elite.

Community wide energy is long gone, truth is anyone stating that the club needs these people are just those trying to back up why we need fan ownership.

We have become a mid table national league team, check the stats under fan ownership of final league standings that’s what fan ownership has brought.... shambles.

Think you have slightly misinterpreted my post there.

I wasn't suggesting the future of the club is dependent on 100% fans ownership, in fact unless the fans ownership model can unlock considerable finance, to compete with other clubs with wealthy benefactors, (eg FGR and Salford ) which to date it has been unable to do, then I would support some level of outside investment and shared ownership.

My point was more that if we have any hope of ever making Wrexham AFC great again we all have to pull together, but while we are in opposition and divided as a fan base we will remain broken and at the bottom of the ocean.
