The movement by Jarvis that led to the foul, that led to Jennings free kick (you can see more on the clubs highlights) ... Beautiful, effortless. Early signs are very promising with this lad. Looks a player. He plays how I hoped Redmond would play.

Quality goal by Hooper. Haven’t had a striker who can do that in ages.

Agreed, I've not seen him in person yet but from both sets of highlights he looks a baller to me. Clearly has the ability to play much higher & what about that pass that he laid on a plate for Rutherford second half (how slow is he??)

I'm not sure what happened there. I can only think he didn't anticipate it and get his stride pattern right. Zero composure in front of goal.

I think the run of the ball on that surface was a factor. 1st half Hooper kinda gave up on a ball that would run through to the keeper on grass but it oddly held up a bit. Suspect the opposite happened with Rutherford and it skipped off the surface even faster than you'd get with grass. The joys of a fake pitch. Jarvis does look quality. Long may it continue.

As long as Ruthers runs around a lot then nothing else matters. Its all about hard work and racking up the miles.

I’m happy to put up with him and his laziness because he has quality and will produce things like that. He’s worth persevering with.

We did, he's now banging them in for Barrow.
