How Many Relegation Spots?
I have seen a few posters referring to wishing for confirmation regarding how many relegation spots there will be. As far as I understand, 1 will come down from League 2 with our 2 promotion spots filling the voids. Surely this will not affect the bottom end of the National League, with 4 teams still going down?

Re: How Many Relegation Spots?
If that were the case there would only be 23 teams in the NL next season

Yes, that makes sense. I somehow completely missed that scenario! :6: Hopefully some confirmation one way or the other then, sooner rather than later. |
Re: How Many Relegation Spots?
3 relegation spots the players have been told.

Re: How Many Relegation Spots?
But things could change between now and the start of next season.
Will Bury re - emerge somewhere in the Pyramid ? Will Macclesfield Town fold just like Bury ? Are there other clubs on the brink of collapse ? It's quite frightening what has happened at Bury - not seen or heard of any news updates for sometime - as though they never existed - just shows how close to the edge of the trapdoor some clubs are perched. |

I think they are on borrowed time now with all authorities. |
Re: How Many Relegation Spots?
