Yes I recall that as well. Even the BBC misunderstood it. Just shows how lacking upstairs is your average United supporter. Nothing changes.

I went with my ex wife.We where on one of the last coaches from the ground.Impressive seeing all of the coaches on the m56 from the back of the convoy.

This is one of my greatest memories of watching Wrexham. I remember standing on the kop with my brother and dad watching our win against Ipswich Town and then queuing around the block to get tickets for the United game. We got on a club coach along with thousands of others and the Daily Post ran a feature with journalists interviewing excited fans on the bus. Taking the lead was something special and in the end it didn't matter that we conceded 5. The day out was brilliant and one that will live long in the memory of any fan that was lucky enough to attend.

Got the train, had a few beers in the city centre then taxi to the ground. Great day out

Fantastic day out (second trip to Old Trafford - after the CWC game).
Crowd was bouncing, and scoring first was the icing on the cake.

I didn't care we lost in the end as I was expecting us to not even compete!
